For a beginners course, you do not need any prior qualifications. However, for our conversion course or advanced courses, you will be required to hold an accredited certificate in the area you have chosen.

All beginners courses have a live class included as part of your learning. On the product listing you will have the option to book an in-person or online only course.

Courses that include an in-person lesson will be 4-8 hours long depending on your course and are held at our HQ in Cheshire.

Alternatively you can book solely online courses and you will have a 1-2 hour live lesson with your educator included in your course.

Yes, insurers will look at training which has been developed inline with the national occupational standards (NOS).

Yes, to train as a Glossify Professional, you will need to purchase a Glossify kit for any beginners courses, however, for advanced or conversion courses you do not have to purchase a kit if you already have the items listed on the course description. Your training is specific to Glossify products so a Glossify kit must be used for all training.

This is not something we currently offer, we believe in small group in person training and the value of peer support. All students can however access 1-2-1 time and advice with their tutor on the Glossify learning portal. 

All in-person practical days will be held at Glossify HQ in Cheshire. All virtual practical sessions will be held via video-call.

Courses have the following total learning hours:

• Gel polish Foundation - 24 hours
• Builder Gel Expert - 26 hours
• Glossify Conversion - 24 hours
• Gel polish and Builder Gel Combined - 33 hours 

We recommend completing your chosen course over a 4-12 week period, you can plan your learning hours flexibly to suit you.

You have 6 months to access your course and complete it from the date of purchase.

You book your practical in-person or virtual lesson after you purchase your course and receive your kit. You will receive an email with details of how to log in to your learning portal and set up your profile. Once this is complete you will book your lesson by logging into the Glossify Learning Portal, selecting your course and completing your introduction unit. 

You will have full instructions and a link to book a class date and time that suits you.
